Boston Digital Queer (BDQ) organisers value the participation of each member of our community, if that's at digital or in-person events or when engaging through one of our digital channels. We want all members to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. All members are expected to show respect and courtesy to other members throughout events and when communicating on related channels.

To make clear what is expected, all event attendees, speakers, organisers and volunteers at any BDQ event or online discussion are required to follow our Code of Conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event and on our social platforms.

BDQ organisers are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.

We make sure to give credit when it is due.

If anyone has worked on a project in any capacity, they must be mentioned in any credits as a contributor. The only exception is when a contributor explicitly asks to be removed from a project’s credits.
